Realisation

shayna felt the warm sun rays hit her face. it was getting very warm... where was she? what's happening? she rubbed her eyes and realised that she was sleeping on a car seat. she squinted, the sun rays were too radiant. Shayna then realised that she was still in the clothes that she wore last night. did she go home? who's car is this?
"grrr." a figure turned
who the hell is that? shayna looked over at the figure laying beside her but is back was facing her. she turned the person over and she got a shock of her life!
"oh my god." she said.
"what what?" the person woke up in shock. both of them stared at each other for a while. "oh my god. shayna?" the person replied.
"yea. hi colin." shayna replied, rolling her eyes.

"what happened?'
"i don't know. did we..." shayna asked, sounding terribly worried. she checked herself. ok. clothes were still intact.
"i'm sorry. what happened? how did we end up like this?"
"i don't know colin. i think we were both drunk last night and..."
"i'm sorry shayna. i didn't think.."
"forget it. i think i should go home now." shayna said as she picked up her jacket and opened the car door.

"hey. let me send you back." he replied.
"it's alright. i think i can go back myself," she stepped out of the car when Colin's hand held hers, "Colin, let me go. please." tears were about to well up in her eyes.
colin came out of the car, without lettin go of her hands. they looked at each other for quite a while. eyes locked. hands still clasped tight together.
"i think what happened last night, even though both of us didn't expect it, happened for a reason."
"what wonderful reason can that be? colin you have a great family, a good career and a wonderful girlfriend. why are you gonna throw your life upside down because of me?" shayna argued.

"shayna. you're not gonna cause my life to go upside down. in fact you make me realise a more fulfilling life than all my money or anything that i own can do for me.... not even megan."
"you love her don't you?"
"i used to." colin answered. "now i found someone i love even more. you."
"just stop this ok." shayna said, pulling away her hand and walking away from him.

she teared. she didn't want to think of what colin said as truth. she has been hurt one too many times by him. whatever he said... are all lies. but are they? shayna wanted them to be true.. but.... she can't. her mind went all confused on her.

"do i really love colin?" she asked herself. her heart sure was beating when he was holding her hand and they even spent the night together. thankfully with clothes on.
