Innocence Revealed.

"Don't worry. Mommy is going to take care of you. We are all going to be happy. Together," Lila talked to herself. She sat up on the rail of her roof access of the condo where she stayed.
Colin and Tyler raced up the stairways. Colin even slipped a few times and he had his legs bruised and bleeding.
"Are you alright?" Tyler asked.
"Forget me. Lila's in trouble," Colin said as he trudged forward.
Finally, the two friends emerged at the roof access. "LILA!" Colin shouted. Lila was stunned and stood up from her sitting position.
"Don't come any closer. Leave me alone. I can't get your love; I rather die without it and know you would be happy then marrying you and know that you would be upset all your life. Let me and the baby go," Lila cried.

"Lila, things need not end this way," Colin said. "We could... I could..."
"... colin! Stop lying to yourself. Your love of your life is getting married soon in London and you should not be here talking to me. Stop her! Stop her from making the mistake of her life!"
"You are making the mistake of YOUR life, lila! Don't you see? Ending both your life and the baby's life isn't going to make me any happier! I want you all to be happy too. You can think of MY happiness, why can't I think about yours?"
Lila started to cry.
"Lila, we can make this work. I know that no one trusts me anymore but you are carrying MY baby. I should be responsible too. Let me share your responsibility. I want to. It would make me happy," Colin said, stretching out his hand.

"Really?" Lila asked. Colin nodded and stepped forward to take her hand. Lila hesistated for a moment but soon reached out to grab his hand.
But, she misstepped and slipped down as she was trying to cross over the rails. "NO! Don't fall!" Colin shouted as Tyler rushed over to help.
But it was too late. Lila fell and blood started to spew from between her legs.
"Colin, it hurts!" Lila cried. Colin held her close to him and gripped her hands.
"It's going to be ok. Tyler is calling the ambulance now. You're gonna be alright," he comforted her.

Meanwhile, in London, Timothy and Shayna were in their midst of a run through at the church when Timothy sprung a surprise on Shayna. "I want to be honest with you," Timothy said. By this time, his hands were shivering and he was obviously nervous. The whole crowd was silent at the church. Family, friends and even schoolmates. They were waiting expectantly to hear what was on Timothy's mind.

"I lied to you Shay," Timothy said, "I... I didn't know how I was going to get you back into my life and I really loved you... so I..."
Shayna gasped and pulled her hands away from his. She stepped back in shock but didn't say anything.
"I... I made the scholarship possible for you. I paid for it, so you could leave and come to London with me. Then I cam make you fall in love with me and we could be together. I didn't want you to know cos I know you would hate me forever. But... I feel too ashamed and when you agreed to marry me, I was so excited yet deep down inside, I felt guilty."
Shayna still stood there stunned. Alyssa had to come over and assist her. Everyone started to gasp and murmur amongst themselves.
"I don't want you to go, Shay. I love you so much. Trust me."

"How can she trust you? you lied to her! I thought you were honest? You are just like any other man who would want to hurt her and force her into marraige!" Alyssa shouted back at Timothy.
Shayna looked distraught and kept shaking her head.

Finally, Shayna took down her veil and removed the ring from her finger and threw it on the floor. "I should go," she finally said. She dropped her flowers and raced out of the church. Alyssa followed and hopped into a cab with Shayna - who was by then crying her eyes out. It all made sense. Kelly could not find records of Shayna being on a scholarship and Timothy always looked edgey when she talked about it. Why was she such a fool to be led on by Timothy? Why must she be lied to by a man she thought she loved AGAIN?

"Lyss, I feel so stupid!" Shayna cried into her best friend's arms.
"It's alright. I'm here for you. Cry it all out," Alyssa comforted.
"I want to go home," Shayna said.
"We'll do that."

At the hospital, Colin and Tyler waited outside for Lila. It had almost been an hour since she went in and the men were getting worried. Mr. Tan and Mr. Yang rushed down to the hospital... so did Megan and her troop of lawyers.
"What happened?" the lawyers from both sides asked.
Colin and Tyler kept silent.
"If anything happens to my client..." Megan warned harshly. Mr. Yang tried to defend Colin and at that time, the doctor came out. Everyone rushed to hear what the doctor had to say.

"Who is the patient's kin?" The doctor asked. Both Megan and Colin raised their hand.
"I'm the baby's father," Colin explained.
"I'm the patient's lawyer!" Megan interrupted.
The doctor shook his head and turned to Colin. "Since you are the baby's father. I should tell you this. I'm sorry but we lost the baby. When the mother fell, she lost too much blood and we had to remove via ceasarean. The mother is doing alright. You can go in and see her. The rest would have to stay outside."

But no one listened. everyone rushed into the ward and a big quarrel started. Colin stayed by Lila's side ot make sure she was alright. Lila awoke and smiled to see Colin beside her. "I'm sorry I lost the baby," she whispered. Colin shook his head, "It's alright. As long as you are alright. We're happy."

"No we are NOT! You murderer! You killed your own baby for money!" Megan shouted. "You will have to pay for this!"
"You have no prove to say that!" Mr. Yang retorted.
Then, Lila started to cry. "Stop it! Colin wanted to save me and the baby from killing ourselves. You are the one that wanted both of us to die!" She said, pointing to Megan.
"I know Colin cared. You only cared to win the law suit for the money! You used me and my baby. Now it is gone, see how you handle this case!"

Megan was left silent and was advised by her lawyers to leave as they settle it with Mr. Yang.
"I have recorded that on tape," Mr. Yang said, flashing his recorder. "You have no case now and you have to abide my my client's wishes."

When everyone left and it was just Tyler, Colin and Lila, they smiled at each other as Lila clutched onto Colin's hand.
"Thank you Lila," Colin said.
Lila smiled, "It was the least I could do for your happiness. I'll be fine. Go find Shayna and stop her from getting married to Timothy."
Colin kissed her on her forhead and left with Tyler to go to London.
