Questions left unanswered

"I can't do this," she said, crying.
"Why not? It's your chance to get what you want!"
"NO! It's what YOU want! You want revenge. I want him to love me!" Lila cried.
"Wake up lila! You have been cheated, lied and now preganant! We can win this! He is weak. It's time for us to strike!"
"It's not the way it should be. I can forgive him. The baby can too!"
"Shut up!" megan said, "walls have ears!"
"I don't care!" lila said and stormed out of the room, "Do what you want but the baby and I aren't part of this!"
"FINE! Be that way!" megan said, slamming the door, "I can still get his money without YOUR help!"

The phone started to ring but Colin didn't want to pick up. He kept replaying the scene from Final Fantasy and kept himself thinking about Shayna. He didn't want to let go of their memories. However, the phone ring kept distracting him.

He finally reached for the phone and all he heard was sobs.
"Who is this? If you are the media or a prankster I will put the phone down!"
"NO! Please Colin... It's me. Lila."
Colin was stunned and didn't say anything else.
"I know you are upset and angry with me... The baby and I just want you to love us," lila explained as she sobbed.
Colin interrupted her, "Lila, I know. I'm sorry... I will make up for it. I will marry you..."
"... No. i don't want to marry you. Your heart is with Shayna. I knew it all along. I just deceived myself into believing I could change you. Don't worry. You will be alright. Megan would not get what she wants from the baby and me," lila said, her words were strong, like her will.

"Megan? What has she got to do with it?" Colin asked but before he could get an answer, lila hung up the phone.
"Good bye Colin. I'll shower my blessings upon you when I'm in heaven," Lila said, crying.
"Lila!" he shouted.

Alyssa and Shayna's parents came back to London about two weeks before the wedding. They were all gathered at the house to make some decisions for the wedding. Shayna wanted her closest family and friends to be part of the organising. It was just a typical custom of her family.

Shayna's parents were also excited and started to buzz around with Timothy's parents. Shayna was happy that her parents were comfortable with her new in-laws. Even Timothy's mother started to shower Shayna with better hospitality.

"Shayna! I have the best idea! We could have this themed party and of course, no strippers. Just a posh, classy yet fun party!" Tammy squealed.
Tammy was the hen party organiser. She had a great party installed at a classy lounge uptown.
Shayna nodded, "Whatever you feel would be best, Tammy."
"I'm so happy Shay. You're gonna be my sister-in-law and you can always be part of my life!" Tammy grimaced.

Alyssa was going to be the maid-of-honor but she didn't look the part. She was glum faced and Shayna knew she was troubled.
"Lyss... smile for me," Shayna said.
"Oh Shay. I'm sorry," alyssa said and wiped her tears, "I'm just... happy for you."
"Stop lying. We've been best friends for ages and I know those are unhappy tears," Shayna said.
"I just... Since I went back home, Tyler didn't even bother calling and when I tried to look for him at the office or at his place, he is always not around!"
"Did you try Colin's place? He might be there trying to talk Colin around," Shayna suggested but as soon as she said his name, her heart wrenched a little.
"I did but there were too many media people and security was tight. Colin is in deep trouble back home."

Shayna started to look worried.
Alyssa panicked, "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to..."
"No it's alright. I just hope he would turn a new leaf after this is over and get his act up. I'm happy getting married to Timothy. He treats me well and I guess I should not let his love go unrequited," Shayna said, trying ot convince herself that it was all for the best.
Alyssa held her best friend's hand. "Shay, I know that I have always encouraged you to be with Timothy because he would cause you less heartaches but I know you. You have fallen in love with Colin, so deeply that I can't even pull you out of it."
Shayna squirmed. She was uncomfortable having this talk. Everything was true but she tried to hide them, bury them under the dirt and start anew.

"If you really want to be with Colin, you should stop this now, or else things will go too far and you can't decide out of your own free will anymore," Alyssa said.
She had said it all... everything that was kept in Shayna's heart. It was out in the open and Shayna had to deal with it.
"I... I want to. I want to do this," Shayna finally said.
Alyssa smiled and hugged her friend, "Then I'll support you all the way. Forget my problems for the moment. After you become Mrs. Timothy Leong, then we'll talk about me. It has always been the case hasn't it?"
Shayna forced a smile and hugged her best friend, "I'm just glad you came."
"Me too Shay. I'm happy to be here," Alyssa said, tearing.

Colin sprinted down the stairs and out into the open for the first time. Tyler was just about to head upstairs when Colin passed him in a hurry.
"Colin! Where are you going?"
"Lila!" Colin said and continued to race down the stairs. Tyler quickly ran after him.
Both men jumped into Colin's car as he sped off through the media crowd waiting outside and flashing their cameras as the car sped out of the building.

Tyler picked up his cell phone to make a phone call.
Colin snatched a glance at his friend. "What are you doing?" Colin asked.
"We need to tell your father and Mr. Yang where we are headed. Remember you have a restraining order!"
"Fuck them! This is life and death. Lila is going to jump with the baby!"
"All the more we need to tell them! This is not for you to handle alone, Colin! I know you are someone who wants to settle your own shit but this is everyone's shit now!" Tyler chided.
Colin continue to speed down the road but he kept quiet as Tyler talked to Colin's father.

It was time for the practice run through at the church. Shayna was dressed in a white silk dress custom made for the occassion by Gucci and in her hand was an expensive white bouquet and that was just an appitizer when compared to the real white bouquet on the wedding day. She walked down the aisle, holding onto her father's hand.

"Your old man is all nervous and this isn't even the real thing," Mr. Fong said.
"Oh papa. you have always been such a marshmellow when it comes to these occassions. Don't worry. You will do fine," Shayna whispered back.
"I'm just glad you have decided that you wanna do this."
"I guess I am glad too," Shayna said.

When Shayna was handed over to Timothy who was in a three-piece suit and looking all smart and handsome, Shayna felt that she shouldn't let him down. After all, Timothy will be faithful and honest to her all the days of her life. Would he?

After the pastor said the usual marriage vows, it was Timothy's turn first to say that magical "I Do". But he was taking a long time to do it. Shayna started to worry... what was going through his mind at this point of time?

"Shayna, I have something to confess to you," Timothy said. He clasped her arms tight in his, as though he was afraid that she would run away.
"The vows said we should be married in all honesty and truth and I want not only you to be happy but US to be happy. Furthermore you said you hated people who lied to you," Timothy said.
Shayna nodded understandingly. What was his point?
