Getting Back...

"there! all done!" colby said proudly; displaying the finished product to colin., "is it nice?"
colin smiled and lifted his brother and placed him on his lap.
"it's beautiful. she'll like it," colin commented.
"remember to give it to her alright?"
"i will. it's past your bedtime. let me out you to bed," colin said, carrying his brother to his room.

"please remember to give it to her," colby say as he climbed up to his little bed.
"i will. you trust me don't you?"
"of course. i just wanted to make sure," colby commented. colin shook his head and hugged his younger brother goodnight.
"see you in a week," colin said.

"hurry! get your bags packed!" alyssa said, as she stuffed her clothes into her big pink luggage. she wanted her stuff to stand out so it would be easier for her to get her stuff. besides, pink was her favourite colour.
"alright already. don't you think you're a little too excited for this trip?" tyler asked as he folded up his clothes and tucking it neatly into his small traveller's bag. tyler used to be an air steward until he got a great desk job which paid him twice the amount he was getting as a steward.
"we're leaving in four hours. how can i not be excited?"
"yes but please... it's a holiday... for us to enjoy ourselves," tyler cooed into alyssa's ear, making her tingle. she dropped what she was doing and just smiled at her loving boyfriend.

"you're right. i wanna spend more time with you on this trip too. but you must understand that shayna and i go back a long way and i'm excited to see her after so long..."
"yes yes... you and shayna are like twin sisters. just relax and enjoy this trip ok?" tyler said, kissing her softly on the lips.
"i love you," she whispered.
"back to you a thousand times more," tyler smiled.
just as alyssa got back to her packing, but this time with a smile plastered on her face, tyler took this time to excuse himself to make an important call.

"hey..."
"hey buddy. sorry i took so long to call," tyler said.
"don't worry. i was just done packing too."
"alright. you told lila anything yet?"
"of course not. are you mad? i think i'm just gonna say i'll be going for another business trip or something like that. i think she'll buy it," colin laughed.

"just don't let it backfire ya? women aren't easy to play with," tyler warned.
"i know. i'll be careful. shall i meet you at the airport?"
"nah. i don't think alyssa or shayna's parents would be too happy. we'll contact each other again when we get over to london ya?"
"alright. i'll contact you once i arrive," colin said before ending the conversation.

just then, lila walked out of the shower. she was getting ready for work.
"where are you going? a business trip?" she asked.
"yeah. some last minute trip my father made," colin lied as he continued to pack. he knew if he looked at her his lie would never make it out the door.
"when will you be back?"
"in a couple of weeks i guess. it's a very important business deal, so it would take longer."

lila went close to him and hugged him.
"i miss you already," she said. colin just forced himself to be nice and hug her. in reality, all he wanted to do was to jump and shout for joy.
"well you take care of yourself," he said before walking out of the house. lila just watched as he headed down in the lift.

he checked his watch. the cab was supposed to be here five minutes ago. colin was getting a little anxious and worried that lila would see him.
"my my, what a coincidence," someone hollered from behind. it didn't sound like lila but it was a tad too familiar. colin turned and his eyes widen. it was megan.

"hi meg," he replied, trying to look cool.
"hmmm... going abroad?" megan asked as she scanned him from head to toe.
"of course. for business." colin answered, his voice wavering a little.
"yeah right. i don't believe a bit of that," megan laughed, "you never go in business trips without your favourite suit with you. if that is all that you're bringing with you... i say you're going on a holiday, more like it."
colin stayed silent. he forgot that megan is very particular about details and she naver forgets these little things that made up the loophole.

"i say you're heading to london... am i right?" megan said, looking a little smug.
colin just stayed silent.
"i bet lila doesn't know," megan continued, "after all this time... you still cannot forget shayna, can you?"
"i love shayna and i need to see her," colin finally said. he couldn't take it anymore. megan was just putting too much pressure on him.
"to think lila loves you with her heart and soul. she reminds me alot about what i went through with you," megan said.

finally the cab arrived and colin just gave megan a death stare before boarding the cab. something told him that megan was gonna be up to no good. but he cannot just drop the idea of seeing shayna. it was too important for him to care about anything else.

the doorbell rang. lila rushed to get it amidst her putting on some make up. when she opened the door she was surprised to see megan standing out there.
"who are you?" lila asked.
"i'm someone you have to thank," megan said, puttng on her smug face again.
"ok... what is this about?" lila asked, looking very confused.
"let's just say i know something about your boyfriend that you would be interested in," megan said.

"and what could that be?"
"i could tell you but you have to make a deal with me."
"what's the deal?" lila still couldn't figure out who the person was and what was going on.
"if i help you our on your boyfriend... you have to help me in return."
"help in what area?"

megan's evil smile crept up her face.

"revenge."
